Mass Effect - Piano Legacy

Mass Effect – Piano Legacy was released in December of 2021, and   features six key piano arrangements from Mass Effect 1-3, spanning a variety of different styles and skill levels. There’s pieces to play for people who are starting out with piano, as well as pieces for those who are looking for a challenge. I carry much love for these games myself, and I put a lot of work into this album to express that!

Notably, it includes my first ever arrangement for four hands. Uncharted Worlds was too difficult to do justice otherwise. The main attraction in terms of complexity is Suicide Mission, a notoriously difficult piece to arrange. This is due to its 7/8 time signature, the instrumentation, and because the track is essentially a medley of different motifs from Mass Effect 1 and 2.

The artwork was drawn by artist Phil Dragash, and contains more details than what first meets the eye. The idea is that the backdrop is Shepherd’s armor, and you can spot textures, scratches and even stains if you take a closer look. The album was licensed by Soundrop to 20 different music platforms, and has garnered over 50 thousand streams since it’s release. It received a positive launch review at GameGrooves.
